Hi beloved paradise residents,
I’m starting this thread to keep track and share what i know and what i’ll learn along the way. The first introduction by me was this;
This is my first haul from plants that were in 1 litre pots. Tiny tiny. There were 5 plants. 1 pollen mother blueberry, 2 blueberry seed mothers, 1 dinachem and 1 northern lights. It was almost april when i got the pollen and i pollinated all.
At first it seemed unsuccessful! No browning pistils or anything. Actually, there weren’t many brown pistils till the end. I’m not sure why. But i kept hope and it turned out ok.
The only downside is i was almost completely sure there weren’t any seeds in them so i just chucked them into a brown bag and dried all of them together. So now i have many blueberry bastards.
Well still, its my first breeding project and i’m pretty happy with the results.
For this experiment i used store bought cs. 50-75ppm. Sprayed 2 times daily and then backed off a bit after 10 days and started doing once a day. After about 23 days i harvested my first pollen sack but it was not done yet so it took about 35 days to get actual any useful pollen. At that point i pollinated the other girls with it.
Thats the story of my first experiment. Next run which will start in couple of weeks is gonna include sts and a dinachem pollen mother. I’m gonna share that with you to. For now here are some photos from my first experiment.
See how my pollen mother was all stressed and burned by the cs. One reason may be the ppm but i think its about the light. Definitely should spray in the dark and let it sit with silver for that 12-13 hours darkness.
Next time sts! I already got 0.1N sodium thiosulfate and silver nitrate solutions. Not a chemist so i bought them pre mixed. Should be fun.

The sentences in bold letters doesn’t reflect the truth anymore.Hello fellow cannabis enthusiasts. Just joined here. I’m a hobby grower and a “pollen chucker”. Tho i only tried once and failed. Now gonna do sts. Well i’m sure there is gonna be a diary so lets move on.
I prefer organics and homemade nutrients. I’ve had satisfactory results with what i’m doing. I’m pretty new at this stuff. I’ve been growing many kinds of crops for almost 20 years now so that helps a lot. Anyway, good to be here.
