a.k.a. Rusty Nails
The only issue with that big chunk of future garden (pictured above) is that there's no water there. It would probably take several garden hoses strung together to get irrigation there, so plumbing something out there is more likely. I do have a strain of blackberry in that area that is far superior to the ones I have bulk of.
That was another chore was pruning out the dead canes and training this years crop of wild blackberries. I mowed down some and corralled the rest into manageable chunks that I can pick from all sides. I have about 20 square feet total - but spread out - that just lost all it's flower petals and the green berries are everywhere.
The mulberry tree by my garden also produces gallons of beautiful, sweet berries. Cleaning out the forest and I found two more that I now have staked up and protected.
I think I have come to the realization of how very little I need a yard. I am gonna beat the shit out of that tiller replacing grass with anything but grass
