a few years ago my oldest boy bought a 74 chevy monza, cal.car with a 350,two barrel carb. before he got his current job, money got tight so i bailed him. out i nearly have all parts gathered up after market block, heads, crank, roller cam and lifters @about 8 and a half to 1 should allow for turbos, i've already taken care of the sub frame connectors, 6 speed gear box, just found a 9 inch ford rear end ,out of an old bronco still needs to have a few inches taken off of each end.this should be fun , the boys and me should be able to get the trans tunnel sliced and fitted, look out .the only place you could buy one of these cars was in californa. i'v had so called hot rodders tell me they ,never built them with a v8 ,the build sheet from the back seat has won me 50.00 bucks ,and one know it all shut his mouth after seeing this build sheet.the rascal told his buddies . knocked me out of some sure bets.lately he has been slowly upping the price ,not for sale is what my oldest keeps telling 'em. it will be nice to see the faces , when these guys try to take a bite out of this turd brown little chevy.the old novas and chevy two's will out weigh it by several hundred pounds.
Noice! Those little Monzas and Vegas are fast when you build them right because they're so small.

My favorite was my '66 Starfire sport coupe. Very mild build with a turbo 400 and .060 455 with a Comp Cams 292H and single plane intake. Much fun but she had an unhealthy appetite for transmissions; she ate 4 of them before I gave up.

I've also had a '68 AMX 4spd, a '69 Firebird 400, an '89 SHO and a few others.

Now I have a Caravan with 200k on it and all my body parts intact. I consider myself very lucky!

I have a 72 Monte Carlo. 383 striker, TH350, 12bolt posi w/4.10 gears, 2-stage plate nitrous system. It’s a fun car, but I hardly drive it anymore. If I could conjure up enough energy to give it a proper cleaning, I’d sell it.

Wasn't always like this, I started off in a shithole and worked my way up. Plants will tell u what's up. They are super easy to read. One thing I learned you can't keep giving them the same shit expecting different results. If one thing ain't working change it.
I personally never cared for coco cause it was plagued with the same pathogens as every other hydro setup. I personally preferred flood n drain. Stupid easy to setup and manage and the growth was a little faster.
When I did grow in coco you cannot treat it like soil. You can't let it dry out. You have to feed every water otherwise you just leach out everything on the next water.
If I was you I would go with soil next time and work your way up to artificial mediums.
main reason i started to play in the dirt .

No doubt, but ppm is a little more "specific" and an easier number to remember when growing in hydro. I just know that if someone is using 700 scale they're not for me. Lol

I've often wondered about single nutrient ec meters in reservoirs for rdwc systems. It seems like at some point i stumbled across something of that nature but they were super expensive. Only large commercial vegetable growers, doing hydro in greenhouses, where using them. That's if i remember right.
i guess i need to start watching auctions agin ,did'nt know i needed that when the last time that kind of stuff sold.

Long story but yeah...

I'll get another old muscle car when I get my retirement sorted. Those fucking things are expensive!
now days what is left needs floor pans, rear quarters, frame problems, plus need more room in the rear tubs , plus i tend to like old wagons as of late ,parts are real hard to find.

Cars around here don't necessarily have a lot of rust because it's so arid. That said, they're a half century old and that does mean parts availability problems, for sure.

I think I mentioned earlier that I'm looking forward to hot rodding an electric car; they're simpler and SAFER in just about every way.

yep there are several fast electric rigs out there that started out with gas engines.

Week 6:
Started doing a little LST, removed some lower leaves, and took a couple of cuts. They’re recovering.

Three of the new seedlings laid down and died. I increased their nutrients from .4 to .6 EC when they were just a few days old. The other three seem to be tolerating it, so I’m just going to do nothing.60A69EC8-B731-4084-BEA4-5C3053944A5A.jpeg242268B0-B604-4483-BD2E-358826757D6A.jpeg82BC5532-3285-43E5-9A7D-523326D079BC.jpeg
I’ll need to do some up potting soon, maybe even this week. I’ll have to kick the lone GG4 back into the flower tent.
