I don't lump all the left together...I just lump the FAR LEFT together. I'm the same for the right...I've got no problem with the majority of them. I jast have issues with those on the FAR RIGHT.

I worked for a news anchor, years ago when I used to install distributed AV systems, and the only TV in the house that got cable was the master bedroom. They did not permit their children to watch any news or live events. All the kids were permitted to watch were DVDs of children shows and kids movies. Tell me that’s not an eye opener! This was close to 20 years ago and he told me that “cable news” was more about ratings than getting the truth out. He was a local news anchor and he thought cable news networks were evil.

I consider them “far left” or “far right” when they share the major views of “their side” and are unwilling to compromise or have civil discussions. Anyone who is willing to risk the freedom of others for things like abortion or social justice is “far” on one side or the other to me. People just need to let other people live and stop trying to control them.

I believe that nothing should ever be black and white and I believe that people need to think for themselves instead of reacting to what they are seeing on the news. There’s no such thing as a perfect world, and I wish people would realize and accept that so we can all stop trying to make one, and get back to enjoying the short lives we have.

When the solution is to ban guns there is no compromise.
When the solution is to limit or censor free speech there is no compromise.
When the solution is to abandon fossil fuels and make everyone shift to solar or whatever - there is no compromise.

When the liberal solution is to defund (or abolish) police, there is no compromise.

The problem is that they have grand ideas - that they can survive because they are rich - but would send the rest of the country down the shitter. What happens when you de-fund cops? Do they cut their pay? Nope. Fuckers would quit. They start by removing training. Follow that to the logical conclusion.

You want no cops? Then there is no law. Gun up. Who is going to enforce all your pretty little laws if there are no cops? Citizens arrest maybe? LOL

Yup! I spent 4 months in Saudi Arabia in the 90s and people who have never been to a place like that, where slave laborer still exists in the form of third country nationals working for the saudis, and it opened my eyes and made me realize how good it is here.
