Yup! I spent 4 months in Saudi Arabia in the 90s and people who have never been to a place like that, where slave laborer still exists in the form of third country nationals working for the saudis, and it opened my eyes and made me realize how good it is here.

But the left wants you to support their cultural differences - and denounce conservatives. Think about that.

I'm all about freedom of religion, but islam is not a religion. Technically it is a theocracy. It cannot exist without the trifecta of the government, the mullahs, and the sharia police. All of the laws are based on their religious document - and there is no new testament. It is simply not compatible with western culture.

As a conservative that doesn't mean I think we should bomb them (as the left would have you believe). That is the war-mongering / nation-building far-right. The military industrial complex if you will. Which includes congress-critters on both sides trying to get defense contracts for their state. It is personified by John Bolton.

But we should stay the fuck out of their politics. If we are not planning on conquering a country, we should not occupy it. None of the efforts to "train the locals" has resulted in them not needing us to fight for them. Screw that. At some point you need to fight your own wars. Those countries should not be considered allies - they don't share our values. Doesn't mean they're enemies, but we damn sure don't need to send them pallets of cash in the middle of the night without informing Congress.
