Always remember the following and you should find plenty of friends with boat. Rule 1: always bring something to share. Rule 2: always offer to help pay for fuel. Rule 3: Offer to help clean up. Rule 4: NEVER out fish the host. LOLI helped a friend build a criscraft, well, a big part of it. There was the main keel? and a few ribs? That came as part of a kit. We built most of the ribs, motor mounts and outer hull out of mohagonay and marine grade plywood, fiberglassed it and started working on the interiorior. Then.....he got gf pregnant, married, fast forward 10 years nothing gets done on boat, somebody got a hell of a deal and my buddy put some money in his daughter's college fund.
I am still looking for a friend with a boat.

It will be a minute, took me a day to build 4 of the inner pots (~32oz). Larger clay is harder to handle (has to dry out more before it will stand up but cant get the edges too dry or it wont bend). Those were 12"x5" for the inner and 15x5 thea would be about 2 times as big to get a gallon. Have to make the slabs ahead. If I dont count my time I can beat the china price, if I could get 20 bucks a set Id be at like 6 bucks an hr not counting materials or electricty.Way cool man..... After I jokingly said that, I thought to myself it would probably cost about 5g to have a hundred of those handmade, lol. They're pretty cool though, I'll take you up on one of those, thanks amigo. It will be a minute, took me a day to build 4 of the inner pots (~32oz). @macsnax I will attempt to make the inner today when successful I'll do the outer, when its done, its yours. One for free is better than 100 for 4k.
The evenly spaced holes are pleasing to the eye. And the 5th pic down looks like a serious slab of hash, lol.Progress report - failure is good. I had a big enough piece I tried to get 2 full outers, had it close then lost it. I know what I did wrong and will be able to throw some bigger pieces.

Pretty serious repair job had to take place to replace the custom pan and bench due to a previous crappy contractor.
Then they wanted a tiled ceiling and floor to ceiling glass added. Lol.
LOL!Do you chop it with a big ass cleaver, like "Agghhh", Chop, "Die clay!!!"
