I’m sick of the phrase
“This strain has several expressions, should be a good pheno hunt” or something similar

If I wanted to pheno hunt I’d make my own damn seeds. They all say it. Every seed bank.

Translation: "these are un-tested F1's (or S1's) and if you're lucky we at least did a germ test, sucker"

I don't know if that is worse than "legitimate" breeders like Rasta Jeff selling testers. I mean, at least he's honest? Both are doing the same thing essentially but he charges low "tester" prices at least.

I'm down to buying direct from a breeder/chucker if I buy seeds anymore. The seedbanks helped me find what I like and whose gear runs well for me, but I can buy from those breeders I found direct.

FWIW the Dagga seedbank has decent prices and loads you up with freebies from other breeders to try out. But I think the key is finding someone who selects for the same weed you like to smoke.
