Help on a SOG

I been using a pump like this one, I added 5ft of hose tape the last couple feet of the hose to a length of bamboo so I don't have to bend over and can reach planters in back of the room I can stir the 5gal bucket of nutes with the suction end only real downside it runs on D size batteries pump lasts a year or two depending on the on and off switch pays to add a little dielectric grease to the switch

Does canabis really grow roots once flipped? What ive noticed is the plant focused on flowers. Not much in the root department. You may need to veg a little bigger than needed and prune back then flower?
Never done it, just thinking out loud.

My plan is to keep light extremely low, like 1 inch type low. And see how that goes lol

Does canabis really grow roots once flipped?

Yes they definitely grow more roots for the first 4-5 weeks of 12/12 maybe even longer. Haven't payed that close of attention.
