Someone help Me with this? I never see red hairs till around week 5-1/2. The sundae driver is a lot faster so that one don’t bother me..
well I have a purple punch #2 s1 that is week 4 and throwing lots of red hairs!
The plants super close to it are all white hairs at week 3-4 so I don’t think it’s a herm?
Could It be another fast finisher? Or should I pull her out and check fo4 balls?
Tent is packed and like I said all others are not Doing it normally when I had a hermie it would affect them all. Here is a pic.??

I've seen em do that if you spray em with some shit.or humidity gets real.high

Never spray anything.. I could of rubbed on them while taking pics of the back plants?

Dunks seem to do the job. A layer of perlite and lava rocks on that seems to keep them at bay. Dont like the straight perlite in open air. Domt want dusty nugs. I worry about the filler causing mold so I usually put the dunks in some non chemical water (crazy you have to say that ) and let them sit for a bit then strain and use that to water in. It can be messy so if gwheels is good I say go for it.

I got the little pellets and I sprinkle a tbs over each . Fingers crossed, I've all but given up because of my wife's 40-something house plants upstairs that of course she doesn't take care of shaking my head

They only last a short time on the surface................put it down in the dirt an inch or two and it lasts for months. A good time to add is when you up pot.

Also dunks and the bits are two diff products that do the same shit.. the bits are for faster applications they don’t last as long! The dunks are more time released! Just thought I throw that out there.. I use bits and dunks before together but now I just use microbe lift! Shit last forever and haven’t seen a gnat since I started using it!

I use dunks...fans...better watering practices and i dont see any gnats...or do i...the little bastards are like when you rub your eyes hard and see a whisp of a thing.
But good luck landing in a wind tunnel...the side effect is PM can piss off too...fans are great
I think i started those GMO Cakes for outside way too soon...those 1 gallon pots must be full of roots. The back right 1 is in a 3 gallon coco pot. Soon i will up pot these to 5 gallon pots with soil. I will do a tent shift to keep things seperated.

Ya I've been using dunks, BT, and sticky traps. I found a bag of used coco near my room that was infested. Reinfecting my grow. They took a trip outside, they don't like winter LOL. Just have the odd one now. Worm bins are going out for the summer and going to cut back on plants for the summer indoor and see if I can get rid of them beeotches.

My experience using dunks that seemed most effective is to let them float in your water, that's what they're intended to do in ponds, bird baths , fountains etc.
Here's how I do it. If you dont have a reservoir that you already water from, set up a 5 gallon bucket with a dunk in it and fill er up, every watering scoop some of that water out . Always adding water back after done watering from that bucket. So the dunk is always contributing BTI to that bucket water.
I didn't find the bits effective and I've tried em every way including sprinkling in medium.
Also, absolute best imo is nematodes.
Good luck. I've battled em numerous times over the decades. Knock on wood haven't seen em for years. Some medium comes with gnats sadly.
hypoaspis miles are also effective.
