Hey Highland, I think your wasting your time with a few of these guys. It's like talking to a 8th grader who quit school to pursue a HVAC career. He might be able to fix your AC but he sure as hell isnt educated enough to even begin to understand much about anything else.

You know what those people understand more than anything? If you go to work, treat your family good, don’t be a criminal, maybe even wave at your neighbor you will have a pretty good life. You won’t sit around and worry about all the “what if’s” and everyone else’s problems.

Also, that guy fixing your AC typically makes $70k a year here, I’m sure it’s higher in other areas. He probably coaches sports in the evenings and weekends with his kids. Just a hard working uneducated American. He has a lot to offer as a person. A lot more than someone standing in the street with a sign crying and bitching about someone else’s rights. Who is the better person there?
Believe in your radical left ideas, that’s fine. Don’t try to push them on the rest of America. Don’t be upset when your ideas get voted down. Suck it up and move on. Minnesota will probably be a red state this year come election time. Cities like Seattle, Atlanta, LA, Baltimore, Chicago are living proof these ideas just don’t work.

I'm a patient person and think it's never a waste of time to ask people to consider their actions and reflect on them.
Sometimes the messenger gets shot, but I don't take it personally. New information can be frightening to people who've been told two opposing things at once most of their lives.
My AC is running alot these days, gotta keep that canopy temperature down!

Most of this thread has a political undertone. People discuss politics as if it is an automatic default situation and must always exist. That's what people thought about when slavery was more commonly accepted too, yet that changed...some....sort off., well, a little. Sorry, my mind drifted off to prohibition and how that is one thing that makes me think at least some forms of slavery still exist.
Anyhow, people yack about their particular wish list for their favorite political team to do for them etc. and rant about the other persons team wish list as being bad etc. That's what people think of as "discussing politics", but I think there is more to it than that. I want to discuss the institution of politics itself, not which dipshit will be our overlord.
Politics itself isn't the solution, it is the source of most of the problems. I'm here to bring a different angle to "political discussion" , to examine and expose politics itself.
No secret, I am "anti politics" because politics primary operational means is violence or the threat of it. That's not hypothetical, it's a self evident fact, ie "reality" . If it were hypothetical you could show me where that's inaccurate. Good luck.
So, much of my posting won't revolve around the red versus blue false paradigm. It will revolve around pointing out and discovering the truth and letting the chips fall where they may. I'm not trying to strawman anyone's arguments, I'm asking those who advocate the political means to defend it and not run from discussion when contradictions are presented. The human capacity for free thought is so small its unbelievable we even got this far. Monkey see,money do. Monkey hear, monkey repeat. Im really starting to believe there are outliers with the ability of non biased thinking and the rest of society just follows by design. So if I'm paying bills when I'm 15 and putting food on the table, I have the same opportunity as someone born into millions of dollars with tutors and servants etc? If I'm going to school for biochem while working full time I have the same opportunity as someone who gets chauffeured to school in a Bentley and doesn't have to spare a second to anyone? Cause his great great grandfather put sleeves and a vest and called it a tshirt or some shit he deserves that much more ? Yea everyone has the same opportunity. Anyone can succeed in a economic system literally incapable of producing those same results. The problem with the left is the system isnt right. How come no one posts about the middle? How come it's always "far left" this or "far right" that? Why is it always about sides?
Is the middle too hard to get to at this point? Do we all hate each other so much now it has become too difficult to get to an agreement?
I'm torn. I like white people. I like black people. I like and respect all people until they give me a reason not to. Doesn't mean I trust them or want to give them money.
I don't like the "far" anything.
First off I don't like BLM or ANY of the things black people do when they form into a mob. Every fucking time they form a mob they burn down whatever they fucking want. They beat people and kill people and rob people and rape people. All my life I have never seen white people do that when a white man is killed by a black person. I am sick and tired of it and I would NOT ever take the side of those fuckheads. I'm sick of hearing that white people do this and white people do that and white people aint worth shit. How the fuck do you expect me to take your side if I know you already hate my guts?
On the other hand you have a president who would love to have a race war or a R vs. D one. He doesn't give a fuck what would happen except that white people win. He is the biggest piece of shit this country has ever had as a president IMO. It's been decades since I've seen this much hate in the streets. I have never seen WHITE people hate each other so much over a fucking letter. So now you have half the whites hating the other half and most of the blacks already hating all the whites. I don't see anything good coming to us in the future as a country.
So what choice does a guy in the middle have? Join BLM and the "R" haters? People who already hate me and want to stab me in the back while I walk with them? Or join the "D" haters and become one with my white KKK brethren? You know who they are. The ones who say "I got a black friend! I aint a racist!" Then when they get to the bar and talk shit with their friends the "N" word is used every other sentence. Not in a good or funny way either.
So this is why I now watch all of you argue over the most stupid shit in the history of the world. A bunch of brainwashed turds who thinks he has a better opinion than the other turd because he gets his news from his "worldly" experiences.
How about some of you expand your minds a little bit? Try to see all points of view other than your own. Is it that hard to do? I believe it is for some of you on both sides. As Trump likes to say......"There are some very fine people on both sides". I kind of agree. Except those people have heads as hard as rocks and a few rocks inside their heads as well.
