Step 2 is filming the poles and making a wall if possible. You will retain alot more light that way! These project at I think ~130 degrees so alot of light is going out the sides. Looking tits Kev glad shes up and going strong! O

Maybe I’ll wrap her with some panda film and slap a bunch of zippers around her not a bad idea. I’ll probabaly make two more lights first and replace those hps lights

I posted that at the end of my question in the email thing I sent them. I told them i need guidance in my next build. I’m sure I already turned your hair gray. Another build and you will be bald. Not sure all the parts I would need for the 288 v1 but I think I want to go with the same 4x4 frame 8 boards but I don’t know much about these lights

Or should I go with v2s. All these numbers got me confused with what the lights do compared to one another

I can help you with the parts you need. What you do with them after that is on you, haha. That's cool that everything is up and working. Next time don't use any flat aluminum and you should be good.

All four Qb 3000k to one driver to one side of timer then all four qb 4000k to another driver to other side of same timer nothing more

Yeah, I saw that. I see two power wires coming up, too. That's why I asked. I've seen your wiring skills. I just wanted to make sure you weren't running the whole room off of that pin timer.

Are those 220v timers? Just curious because I'd like to run some stuff on 220v, but too lazy to mess around with a timer, or look for one, lol. Future project maybe.

I think you'll get away with 6 288s for the 4x4 kev. The v2s are a little more efficient meaning you get a little more light for the watts inputted. It isn't a huge number at all. If you plan on running these for many years you might save the cost in electric vs the price of the v1s. Hard to say I haven't looked into it but you can check the output difference vs the kilowatt per hour cost for your home and see if it's worth it to you. Either way looking forward to see the finished result.

If I went with 6 boards would that give me less weight or not really cause I would just have to back the light up more?
