the plastic tab that broke off is just to keep you from getting zapped. That plastic just pushes on the metal under it. It will work just fine, you just aren't pushing the plastic down, you are now pushing the metal down.

They sell liquid electrical tape. Pour some in there and let it harden. AFTER you put the wires in. I felt I needed to add that last part in there.

Use solid wire as well. It slips in much easier than stranded wire.

Speaking of wire...i have some 14-3 wire that acutually has red wires in it. You think that will fit in a wagu? I will strip off 10 feet and make a frame and rock this.

I want to extend these short ass wires i got from my chinese boards and make a fixture where the boards can pivot on the frame.

The thicker the wire the more you are wasting in current to push it through. js (14ga vs. 18ga, also in stranded vs. solid.)
Unless you are talking about the AC side.

HLG prices on the DIY side are solid.
The best part is if you get a board and one diode smokes within their warranty, they replace it at no cost to you. On a QB288, that's a lot of diodes.

I think the LRS MW driver's run hotter then the HLG driver's.
If you can i would try keep them outside the grow space. Thats only if heats a issue i believe i did read that they run hotter

I have both and the hlg 240-1750s @100% run hot! But mine is outside the tent anyway.
I also only have the lrs350 up to 300watts so maybe
