Highkev look at it like this that connecter you broke should just part of the release system. As long as you didnt damage the structure of it and where it meets the board etc and the wire is still holding with a firm but slightly gentle tug you will should be ok. Dont touch it while it's on though. Make sure you twist that wire tght.
Piece of electical tape over good to go hopefully.
Do the wires not stay in when you place them in ?
And if your putting a wire in make sure its gonna be the one that's there for good. Twist tight and put the wire in the molex till it hits the back it should bite. That setup looks like it works from pressure from pushing down on the square spitls the connector to release the wire. When you push it in it spreads it out from the pressure then holds itself after that from my understanding.

Even though the driver itself is cooler doesn't mean it isn't emitting more heat. The lrs drivers are less efficient, that translates into electric lost to heat. A stove with a fan on it will be cooler than one just sitting even when they are using the same amount of power. Not trying to be a smarty Marty just putting it out there. That's good it doesn't cause issues though Bigterps that proves Kev should be ok. However kev you dont want to have it too close to the boards or exhausting over one if they blow alot of heat. If you have a hot spot on a board this changes the draw of the diodes and this just keeps quantifying till you have a short and a house fire. That's the thermal runaway part of it. It can be caused other ways but that's just a precaution.X2 WHAT bruno said! Lrs has fan built in. Hlg doesnt.
I ran my boards wide open using lrs and to the touch the lrs drivers was barely warm.

the plastic tab that broke off is just to keep you from getting zapped. That plastic just pushes on the metal under it. It will work just fine, you just aren't pushing the plastic down, you are now pushing the metal down.
