I used a broken off shovel handle with the plastic "D" handle on the end for years. It was hard to overstir like you can with mechanical means. I run very short 2-3 min cycles in my washer....3 max per run unless I see there are still trichs present. Less is always more.......quality over quantity is the rule here.

I still feel even at 3 min my washer is to rough. So I hand stir.

I just sent out a bundh of 3 ml silicones. Iknow you want glass, but just for reference, the 3 ml held 2 grams nicely.

I keep that 25 bag on....I generally pass that along to my weed dependants. But the 73 and the 120 are mine, lol.

I definitely like hash better than rosin, but it's a close race.

Looks great must be fresh frozen. Do you have a freeze dryer?
Hash rosin is way smoother than nug rosin bc of the waxes and lipids that come with pressing nugs. I can take way bigger rips and doesn't even hurt my throat. Superior buzz also. Gonna start washing my trim and smalls soon will post up.[/QUOTE]

Ok that's what I was wondering whether that was from water hash or ur technique. Do you think more terps that way?

Yes . due to the fact the water soluble terps are intact . Don't get me wrong fire true full melt 6star bubble makes incredible hash rosin and I love both.

Maybe irrelevant but I’ve chucked a wooden spoon in a cordless drill before to gently stir things. Just run it slow. Cheap one with a round handle. I think we have some plastic ones too.

If you do dry sift you get this without the water-mess

I just use a 120m screen (home-made trim-bin) for everything and I get some veg in mine, but I'm not that picky. I just use a gloved hand to rub the trim around, I don't scrape it with a card or anything. But I tap the screen repeatedly to get stuff to fall through.

One thing I have done before decarbing (for budder) is to re-sift it through the same screen, but more gently. Then just smoke the stuff on top of the screen and decarb the "pure". I have a collection ready for processing

Looks pretty green. Is that from fresh frozen? I've heard you can get a lot plant materials this way but haven't tried it.

Maybe not vortex but def too much agitation in my opinion. Hand stir or a machine that has a soft setting on 3 min runs for the full melt win.

I ordered a washing machine which came with no belt lol, sent it back but havn't re-ordered somewhat because the drill works, but mostly for the 3-4 times a yr making hash didn't want to have to store/clean/deal with another contraption

I didn't mention ol frenchy as a reference and yes that monster looks like it's whipping good I agree.

I keep the stuff separated instead of it going to one big jar because you can actually smell the difference. I have tried making the budder in strain specific batches too. I eventually want to see if there's a noticeable difference or if I'm wasting my time, but I stay pretty medicated. I have lots of unimportant plans that never come to fruition

Soooo, you can definitely taste the difference between strains of keif when you smoke it
Decarbing kills all that - but something as simple as having sativa-high budder and couch-lock budder as options would be pretty cool. Even better if you could get any other strain specific effects. I do know that some of the indica leaners will hit you with dry mouth as they kick in. more so than other strains.

Hash guys - I still have those jars of keif sitting around and have enough edible stuff to last a while.

I plan to re-sift it to get the pure, but then what? How do you "make" your hash? How do you smoke it? Just wanting to see if I can improve the process

Press it out in 25 or 37 micron bags and dab away.
