Here is some info I found very interesting. This is the breakdown of trichome size and quality. Who knew.
I thought i got way more ripped from that 73 micron catch...now I know it was true!

I copied this. What it really shows is a 220/160/73/25 will catch pretty much everything and the best is in that 73micron bubble bag.

Here is how it generally works out, but every strain is different and trichomes come in many different sizes. Most often 73 and 90 micron are the very best, but it really just depends on the plant.

-25 micron bag (low to medium quality trichomes)

-45 micron bag (medium quality trichomes)

-73 micron bag (high quality trichomes)

-90 micron bag (typically the best quality trichomes)

-120 micron bag (high quality trichomes)

-160 micron bag (low quality trichomes)

-190 micron bag (often debris being filtered out)

-220 micron bag (often debris being filtered out)

I keep that 25 bag on....I generally pass that along to my weed dependants. But the 73 and the 120 are mine, lol.

I definitely like hash better than rosin, but it's a close race.

Rosin is great to soak a paper in....and then get a side thing going with some fine never pressed hash (wow i didnt know that either)

And then fill that bad boy with say some Dinoberry Bites or Purple Punch...i like to go right berry in the filler...

Well that is the heavenly 4 star doob right there. The only thing better is vaping. PERIOD

I prefer the term gagger when we exeed a half inch in diameter.

Rosin brings more terps though...so more research is required...Empirical research...probably not.more stoner gut feel

So yes that purple cake brings the game...5 minutes in and its starting to hum and i know the cake is a solid 10 to 15 minute creeper to full effect.

I would have been happy with Canuck seeds and then you provided the beans of greatness. But it is not exactly that. Heisen opened my mind to cannabis greatness would be more precise.

And I will always run Heisenbeans. They foxtail like fucking crazy but dont get focused on the tip like a teenager. Look at the mass under the foxtail. I get 3 to 5 oz out of what looks like 2. Seriously awesome harvests of bud so strong i can never buy it from anyone else again.

Im behind on hash making...havnt made any for a few months as I still have 3 oz lol
My shake bin...is big and pretty full. Weed that is weak goes in there to.
I am however going to make a few grams of honey oil this aft...cherry bomb oil.
I roll up leaf joints to do bottle tokes.

last run was 4 fold.....1 trim , 2 outdoor plants, a lb dry seeded weed. The lighter colored one came from the dried bud.

That's a generalization but not totallu accurate. I can get full melt out The 25u. Hell had 3/4 melt out a 220 before. . So test your strain to find it's sweet spot.

If you want to start without the washing machine get something nice to stir the ice and water with. I got a collapsable boat oar. A decent spoon or something would probably work.

the washing machine though....it is a worthy investment if you are making enough hash

Not yet, ill probably order tonight. Was planning on the 4 piece set of the bubblebagdude bags. I've already got a nice scraping spoon, and stirrer, and I'll get some fresh buckets when they come in. So pretty much all the obvious stuff I have covered already.

On a side note, what do you guys use to put a gram - 3.5g or so into for gifts/what you're using at the moment. I was planning on storing the bulk in a parchment lined jar. Was thinking about picking up some 7ml jars but I got no idea how much fits in them, and I don't want to buy 50 jars I won't use lol. Glass preferably, I don't do silicone.

I might grab a washing machine down the line, but for now, I don't think I have enough material to run to justify it.

If you want to be cheap....a piece of parchment paper. Or a cheap silicone cup.

And extra screens so you can KEEP EM SEPARATED !

I use a small one, 2" diameter, in a cordless drill. Zero problems.

I just sent out a bundh of 3 ml silicones. Iknow you want glass, but just for reference, the 3 ml held 2 grams nicely.
