Hey guys. Friend of mine brought this to me for the plants. It is an LED. I plugged it up and it works. I was thinking of using is as side lighting in my tent. Unless it is a useless waste of electricity. Which is why I'm asking for opinions. It is a lights of America light.

All i found out was hand held light for photography,and it wouldn't be suitable for growing

So i googled it and it says it is for plants but they all say they are.

It's all good man. I just put in the model number on the back which is what the thread name is and found it. I'm just wondering if it would be good for some side light.

How many watts? Looks like it would be decent side lighting. Better than none.

Looks like 12 watts. Mix of two spectrum bands Blue (400-520nm) and Red (610-720nm)

In that case, I think a mirror would give better side lighting.
