That is awesome!
Tie a ribbon on one site, get a photo of that ribbon eveytime you shoot. Post it in a grow journal.
It makes for an handy, indexed reference.

Remember, you will see changes right away, just not buds. Dont be discouraged.

You dont need to be a pro to spot troubles. If something looks odd, just ask. Certainly, someone has seen it before.

Enjoy the journey !

What kinds ya got? Some of Mine stretch three times the size after the flip. Be ready if you got one of those kinds.
You know what, I’m kinda nervous I waited too long. They jump so fast and with no reference I thought they were still kind of small. Now I’m concerned about a jungle I can’t control!! But then again it’s the best thing to be concerned about. I got 5 gg#4x98 from katsu. Also a gmo from unknown source.
Also do you think these spots are a little water that I didn’t quite dry? They don’t look too bad... but they also don’t look too good. Only in a couple spots.

So I’m about to switch to flowering lighting. I think I’ll go 12/12 from 12am/12pm just to keep it easy. Any advice for a first time grower? What to expect?
I would set the time to a schedule that works for you. take in to consideration grow environment and surroundings. If you go to work 3-11 and wake up at 10 and 11 is your time to shine with the ladies. Maybe having the lights come on at 10;30 to 10:30 may work best. You know what I’m saying. If it gets cold at nights maybe running lights for the heat overnight works best. Depends on your personal grow and your time for them imo

Look like splashy spots. Will they wipe off with water ?
I’ll try that when they wake up. I’m also super paranoid about light leaking in. I’ve fortified most of the spots and am confident the morning light won’t come in. Plus it’s not too bad. But by securing the light I’m restricting the airflow. I’m concerned about too much heat. Can flowering plants handle temps in the 80’s

Have your 12 hour cycle already on during that morning light that your worried about. If it leaks in at that time it will only help your plants

Yes.
It's a long answer
