Bro everyone thats into cmh is mega obsessed with the philips 315 se. (including me) I’ve considered the DE 630 and curious how it stacks up against the duel 315w se units. As the se units don’t run vertical, the phili bulbs might not be best compared to the DEs. I’m into just running multiple 315s instead cause I’ve been accumulating em but still curious bout the DEs.

It is more efficient than the single ended setups. By how much I have no idea. I do like the fact in an dual SE setup you can do a 3k and a 4k in the same fixture.

Personally I don’t eff with the 4k. I find the 31k does just fine in veg.
Hmm I’m going to look into it. The de s are more cost effective I feel as they have lower sticker price and if what you say is true generally more efficient.
