Mmmm venison steaks!
My kids grew up eating venison and elk.
Been a bit since I've shot a deer, quit hunting them about 10 years ago.
Forest closures, roads blocked, a dozen rigs parked at the gates.

Now I have them in my yard, just can't bring myself to shoot them anymore!

Finally tried Kansas City BBQ. The wife and I split a platter.

The flavor was fantastic! My wife preferred it with the spicy barbecue sauce but I liked it dry.
