The smells are constantly changing, that's the fascinating thing about weed. From morning to evening in flower to 1 month to 6 months cure in the jar.
I am partial to the 6 month cure myself.
It will smell and taste totally different than paint and garlic.
When you have a good bud, you know it.
But damn these funky names that don't pertain to the actual description of the weed sucks. lol
Call it what is or something close.

I stay about a foot or two back from the bud and zoom in with the camera to get tighter cropping. I dim the lights and then put on some Barry White to get the girls in the mood.

FIRST TO SMOKE! Well, at least out of us contest peeps. I guess @Heisen already tried it?
I did a wake-n-bake with a clear(ish) head and the stuff does pack the punch advertised. This was the 8-weeker that only got a few ambers and had mostly milky. I needed the room and it smelled good and had that milky look fro a distance so it went. I got one ounce of a 12-week investment in one 5g pot. No muss, no fuss, and I have 4 more coming with different profiles to enjoy. And they have all been given time to plump up.

It does not like a grinder.
I tried to dry sift the trim and got a little primo, and the rest stuck together in little white fluffy balls of hash
I'm going to leave some out to get extra dry so maybe I can smoke a joint, but I doubt it. This is bowl-weed, or for pressing the flower.
The cinnamon toast smell gets dank when you grind it, more buttery and sour. The kief itself smells like chinese food. Crazy.

Before anyone that it really doesn't matter to starts whining about me chopping stuff too soon or whatever, Heisen now has a good idea what an anctious newb is gonna pull from a random seed. And I get to try some of the smoke early, knowing I have 4 more flavors to try.

Oh, and I took a blurry pic specially for Butternuts. He has me blocked I'm sure, but H can compare my pic with his better to see which is frostier 😂

I forgot to mention the actual buzz because I think that matures as the flower does, but its an initial deep high in the chest and if you have tinitis you'll know it. Can you hear my ears ringing? 🤘 😂

It does mellow after 5-10 minutes where you want to get up and do something, but the high feeling stays a while.

And this is chopped early and just dry. No complaints.

If it gets a full flower now it should be good, but stemmy. The issue on flower clones comes at the bases where everything is crowded and wants to mold. Since you were already lollipopped there should be none of that. Watch at the base of those secondarystalks if there's a lot on a flower.

Smells dank with a little gas but fruity. Both phenos have similar smell but nothing specific that I can describe. Every day they get a little stronger. I get more of a fruity smell on my arms after watering but the gas smell is in the air. I will pull her out for pics and try to get a better description on the nose. I am sweating chopping these because just opening the tent to water puts the smell out really strong. I never have seen weed this fire even on the internets! Maybe time for a sample.

The Platinum Frosting stinks up my place, too. I'm running two carbon filters on the 4x4 (1 new filter in the tent on the exhaust fan and one older filter on the opposite end of the exhaust fan), one new filter on the 2x4 tent, and I still catch a little whiff of t he plants when I first walk into the room. I have another carbon filter coming this weekend that I'm going to use on the opposite end of the 2x4 exhaust so I'll have double scrubbing on both tents.
