What was not in that cabinet was Biphetamine 20 and that boys and girls. really rocked and might be the cleanest buzz I ever had. That's why they killed those off. Black Beauty's. They were too damn good.

i made 6th grade then the doc decited i was too heavy, i had a script for black beauty's, no teacher could get controll of me,every lesson came out in no certain order , and fights were fun! nose is still about 3/4 in. off center !the other cat had two black eyes and a broken hand ,thought he would be tough and hit me from behind ,in the back of the head ,his mistake, about the time he was healed up, he did the same to his older brother, same result!

Amazing stories. Amazing times. I'm sure some folks are still in such a "pharmaceutical" mix...but I shudder to think how scary it would be today with the Fentanyl in everything in unknown doses to source drugs/do as many pills as we did in the day. The ludes were all boots...and there were "Trucker Whites" and other capsules (and the mini-whites) with who-knows-what mix in em. I don't remember anyone dying from any of em in single pill form like today though....do any of you? Everyone I knew in HS who kicked (other than in cars/etc) did so from shooting something up....not taking a single pill.
about the same way here,most of the bad trouble involved a syringe.

I wasn't on Gaba when I was addicted to opiates. Too bad...LOL. Didn't even take the Gaba for a month after the doc prescribed it. When I went back in she asked how it was working...but I told her I didn't wanna be a slave again/puppet again to a pill. She told me I had drug PTSD...LOL. Finally took it. Works well for me...but yeah...I'm still a bit of a puppet cus ya can't just stop taking it......
I have a laundry list of substances I just can't take/do anymore.
Alcohol is at the top...cus it's so easy to source. Never was my favorite drug but that didn't stop me. Quit drinking at 37 in '95. Didn't drink a drop til I was 60...then stepped back in the ring for neighborhood happy hour....and quickly figured out I could fall back into the old pattern far too easily. Got really plastered one night on margs and Vicodins about 15 months ago...and haven't had a single drop since. I would take some narcs if anyone wanted to give me some though....
Valiums- Did you know they come in bottles of 500? Yup. Did so many I still hiccup when I eat something dry...like bread...w/o ample fluids. Hiccupped for 2 weeks straight after a crazy weekend in about '79 or so... and haven't really touched em since.
Toot- I'd sure do a line...but wow...we got wayyy out there for a bit. My roomie/now wife's ex BF had a serious hook. Pounds. We were roomies Summer of '80. The living room table was a 3 x 5 mirror. He'd dump a huge load on the mirror...and we'd sit around with razor blades poking rocks. If it broke..it stayed on the mirror. if it stuck on the blade..it went in the house stash jar. There were Mason jars full in the safe of top shelf rock. He left for a 6 week training session....and while gone...he cheated on his GF....and because we'd been friends since 8th grade..she came to me for comfort...and yup...I comforted her. LOL. We did all his coke and fucked like rabbits til he came home and kicked me out. So I took her with me. Reconnected for the first time in 40 years a few years ago. He didn't fare as well as we have. Divorced...alkie...tried to kill himself but just blew the side of his face off. Fun shit like that. Evidently most of our HS buddies are also alkies. Ah....the stupid. "Don't you ever learn?" Addiction is like grief. Once yer in it...you see that many others have experienced it...and some have experienced it to far greater extents than you have.
I saw the trainwreck coming with my opiate use...and when I hit the wall with the doc about MMJ use and he cut me off on the spot...I was ready to stop...and did so Cold Turkey. I was only a 80mg a day junkie...and oh...4-5 T-3's to keep it all flowing...but it was a serious impact when I hit the ground just the same. Wow. I'm just glad I got out before the Fentanyl hit.

At the time...they were claiming the product was all natural...a special kelp-based formula.....etc. I certainly played with it for a few cycles there before the word started circulating that it may have paclobuterol in it. Yup.....sure did.
There were quite a few products out @ the time. In that pic I posted of me in my store...I had a "Dr. Node's" 4-2-0 t-shirt on. Dr. nodes was from a Canadian company called Rambridge. Same stuff. Ditto with "Flower Dragon".
Sure changed the plant. Folks first figured there was fuckery going on because they were seeing less frost. SUPER hard nugs though. Just nuts.
Never seen any other additive do so much. Definitely kinda scary. "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature"...
Gotta wonder bigly why thsi company would come around decades later and use the same name already in use with so much history. "Bushmaster" is still made....just no paclo.

I used to set my alarm for 3am, take 3 or 4 tabs and go back to sleep till 5am.
I was withdrawing in the middle of the night it got so bad.
Some of you can relate to this, I'm sure of it.
Oh, and there was the Methadone, Oxy 80's and the 1600mcg Fentanyl "suckers/lollipop my brother and sis n law were prescribed by their Dr's.
I ended up losing my home, then moved into ground zero for the best pharmaceuticals when I moved in with them in 2004.
I was a full on addict by that time.
I worked and went to church and I had never dealt with addiction.
It doesn't matter who you are or what you do.
It doesn't play fair. The dr was the salesman.
They fucking knew better, but prescribed them anyway.
I have first hand stories of drs addicted and using their staff to get pills.

These stories you guys tell are why I jumped off the train. I went over the edge with a bunch of other drugs along the road...but like I always tell folks...back in the 70's I did tons of pills/acid/speeders/downs but it was a revolving door of substances. However...most of whatever came around would be gone as fast as it arrived. The better it was...the faster it went...but no one drug really stayed around for long periods of time.
Until the opiates. Thought I was smarter than they were until I was proved wrong.
