Biggest Hurdles and Potential Game Changers

Here's my "hurdle of today".
I have a couple ideas, but...???

A buddy is gonna make the 2 hr road trip to a dyspo in the big city of the "O" valley. lol

How do I get the "weed thing" behind the counter,
to break out the best flower in the place?
Besides flashing $$$ at them.

It will be the first flower/product ever from one of these places.
1st timer!!!
I just wanna see the shit and find out if the rumors are true.

So...
how do I get, what the "common folk" will never know exists?
Is there a way of obtaining,
such an item of such personal importance?
And that's my current hurdle.

Here in Illinois u dont even get to see it til u get out to car and open it up... Its no different than walking into a Casino and throwing 60-75 bucks on black or red...
Total bs scam way of doing it...
At least in Colorado when i visited, it was like a kid n candy store kinda thing..
Everything they had was in big jars behind counter u could look at and smell b4 u buy...

Ive herd in Missouri they let u see it before you buy...

In Michigan they have sample buds in a plastic container that are locked to the table like cell phones are in a cellular store. They have holes drilled into it so you can "smell" the buds but usually it doesn't have any noteworthy smells.

If its anything like NY it will take at least a year to open legal sale. It was a weird "limbo" where it was totally legal to smoke and possess... but illegal for any sale. So how are you supposed to obtain it, even with growing being illegal at that point. Naturally people crossed the borders lol. Then NY fucked up the whole flow of things by pausing opening of any new businesses because of their inability to recognize giving a fair chance to Veterans to open a business. Its ridiculous... mean while the farmers were told to start growing 2 years ago and now have been sitting on literally $750 Million worth of weed with no outlet to sell it.

But some of the recreational dispensaries here that were lucky enough to open, they have sample jars you can smell. But anything you buy has to remain sealed until you leave the building. I suggest once you get back to your car you open the bag to make sure they at least gave you the correct order. But i doubt you can actually open the products and complain if its garbage.

Yeah I agree. I try to buy anything dry if I can. It's just their marketing makes it sound like they were doing something to create more than just a simple nutrient trick. Like they found some sort of hormone or hormone inducing to signal the plant to finish. I wasn't sure if it was something that could create an environment in the soil that would mimic seasonal shift and lowering of nutrient uptake. Sometimes on products you don't have to list every ingredient (usually depending on its category) and I wasn't sure if there was some "proprietary secret blend" shit going on. But Sounds like they did a decent job marketing it then, because they had my attention curious haha.

I think tomaotoes is seriously the easiest way to make the connection with non weed people. Pretty package in the store, or that basket your neighbor just brought over with no "government protection".

As far as testing goes they batch test. means nothing. "Hey Bob, we need another test, break out that clean sample". I think with the THC numbers being skewed by labs to unrealistic proportions all faith in labs is shot. Or it should be.

For any testing on a speciffic substance there is a national standard - a calibration tool - used to make sure all testing equipment in the country for that sustance is operating off the same baseline. Weed is illegal. There is no national standard. Tests are random as fuck based on whatever the testers deem profitable.
