It will eventually be a valuable product, if it can improve efficiency and extend the led's life.
For example, air cooled vs water cooled motorcycle engines.
As far as lights, it's "2 strokes" vs 4 strokes. CC for CC, 2 strokes are the "dominate species.".
I'll take a bunch of Vero 29's or 3590's over the strip light(cheapest by far to produce).
All for a little savings on your electric bill, maybe.
Environments change in the grow room, even with different led systems.

If anyone has questions or needs some help on LED's, might be better to talk in an LED thread? I don't think the discussion falls under Shit Talk or Banter rules. 😂
I might in the "doghouse" after making fun of @Heisenbean's "ChunkaDunk" name he came up with. :unsure::eek:🤐
All I know is, he doesn't come in these forums wearing fishnet body armor. He's calloused up for this shit. lol
He can handle a little "banter". lol

Nice set up @treefarmercharlie I'm getting set up here as well. It's not gonna be as stylin as your set up 'cus it's a mish mash of a lot of well used stuff...but it's gonna rock pretty well for just slappin' it together with what I had on hand. This stuff needs to be used...even if it's pointless/there's no need for the weed/etc. It's the fun of it ya gotta go with these days...yup.

And on that note...I gotta thank Heisen for getting this contest going and getting my ass in gear. Doing the outdoor definitely fills the stash/hash jars but I do miss the quick indoor cycles and being more involved with the plants. I also miss growing from clones and knowing what yer gonna end up with. Oh...and the cash...but that's another thread! Wahhhwahhh....

I'm so out of the habit of having a tent grow I'm just hoping I remember to go down and water. o_O Oh...and keep the fire going. Gonna pump 3 barrels/about 110 gallons of water from the creek today to keep from hauling gallon jugs down daily...LOL. I should probably get an aquarium heater for it or I'll be watering with 50F water all of the time. I'd love to win but I'm also a realist. I can't truly compete with the guys with dialed in spaces. I'm just fuckin' around and hoping to stumble on something worthy in the process. I'm gonna run more than just the contest beans but those will be at least 1/2 of what I do run.
