Kind of. It's tomatoes, onions, egg, cheese, bread crumbs and basil in a pie crust. I think my next one I will add green chilli's or jalapenos and ditch the basil.
Maybe substitute the basil with oregano or sage? Looks delicious.

These bad boys are known as pierogis...mmm nummy these ones are cheddar cheese mash potatoes and jalapeño. Boiled then fried. With sourcream and dill dipping sauce.

Is anyone else here aware of the wonderful german-russian dishes known as Fleischkuekla and knoefla soup? Mmm. Makes me miss my homeland.

The ethnic Prussian Germans who settled in northern and eastern Colorado brought a lot of those kinds of recipes with them. I have fond memories of kraut burgers scratch made in elementary school back when dinosaurs touched the Earth lol
I've since learned how to make them and while it's a fair amount of effort, it's soooooo worth it!
