It's not a hoax. I'm more in line with a "conspiracy."
Be awful if it was intentionally spread amongst the growing population.
It's the plants version of Covid.
Symptoms vary from low THC, dudding, slow growth to not knowing you have it.
Sounds like the "Rona" to me.
Should have been Corona "Latent 19" Virus. lol
Definitely would take out the competition for a few years
until everything got sorted out, while the "misinformed" or "uninformed " Joe Grower would be growing and making seeds,
infecting his old stock along with the new seed.
Even Bleach is "questionable" whether it will kill it all or not.
That's not normal.
Plus, the timing of its emergence?
Earns a possible "conspiracy tag".
I made sure I was in the "banter" thread. lol

I think the ones who created the cure there hands in getting it out there personally, a virus in hops that could transfer to cannabis. How the fuk that happen

I'd say hops farms didn't grow cannabis until it was big business for AG.
So, if the viroid was already in the hop grown soil,
did it infect the cannabis/hemp roots when grown in these hop/hemp fields?
I thought it came from infected industrial hemp?
It was out and moving through the populations really quick.
Says it's been around for a long time.
Why didn't we have an outbreak like this 10 or 15 years ago?
Or did we?
No one knew what they were looking at back then.
Were these guys breeding with infected plants back 15 years ago?
Makes you wonder just when it crossed over and the spark was lit?

Well that sucks. Trop Cherry was on my list of “to acquire” down the road. Good thing there’s plenty of other choices.
