I got my second AC Infinity light. The first was just a 100w for clones and such and it kills it, so I am trying their "3x3" light for my closet. We'll see how they do in flower. The best part of it is the % dial for power If I want 80% there's no math, no meters and no screwdrivers. There's a dial. Switch it to 80%. Done.

I think the question is "why has no one done this before?". I mean, I'm sure there are aps and controllers and such, add-on's you can plug into the wall, whatever. It's a damn light. I will also be re-introducing a driver into the room though. Good for heat for now, something to remember come summer.

I got the Irie tent jammed with The Stones and the closet empty. The John Lemon got done right at 70 days so it was an easy call to jam 7 in one tent. That OutREDgeous lettuce is a winner too Provided a nice cover, quick, with just a few plants.

I am digging all things Irie

But I also had to chop the fucking ChemD because she nannered hard all at once a few on most of the tops but none open.

Now I have jam packed tent, one with three plants and an empty closet, and I still didn't fuck with the new light.

In other news the 4 Stones are starting to brown so they will not be some ungodly long-flowering strain. They are not that far behind the Irie 3 that are left.

Glad I didn't get pissed and toss the ChemD in a compost bin. Fucking around the house and listening to podcast re-runs and there's notsodog talking about how they take the chems to 10 weeks, but some testing showed that taking it at 54-56 days boosted the THC testing numbers from 18-20% up to 29%. Here's that part of the discussion.

Gotta be Karma that I hung that plant and was wondering what to do with it. If it ain't great smoke it might be the strongest meds I've grown - who knows.

Gonna be extra cold for a few days. I am clearing out the extra bedroom with the 3x3 and mini-tent so I can shut down that end of the house from being livable-warm. Didn't think about it until I fired up my new light and moved the stuff from the fire tent in here.

That's a washable shop-vac filter that has an elastic band, and a homemade, cylindrical wire cage to make more surface area. That's just a pre-filter for the exhaust fan. I have a handfull extra, and can slap a new one on in a heartbeat. It's on a short length of flex hose just so I can do it without a ladder.

The tent those came from is now 18/6 and can hold all these for a bit.

And the jammed tent has some size differential but it's all good.

my limit was a QP. I'd snag 4zips and sell three to get my money back as I smoked on the 4th. But since I was only wanting "a little" I could usually snag a little of the best instead of a lot of mids.

I was 1/4 ounce a day smoker in them days if I was awake there was a 99% chance I was stoned I worked on a dairy so it was meanial work at best so I needed a pretty big stash to avoid the Mexican brick weed lol we lived in such a small rural area no matter how safe one if you grew/smoked our extremely crocked sherif got to supply your clothes and feed you eventually unless you paid it was such a differnt world then...

I guess the other thing was that I had until I smoked up that ounce to sell the other three, and that was just to friends and neighbors. Safety first!

Now I grow them about an ounce at a time. The tent-o-fuego! Chems and CLHP, and the ChemD is turning nicely. I put a little extra 'food' in the soil for the Chemdog so it'll be nice and done before it starts eating itself. I keep debating taking a clone off it, then I look at my bean list and slap myself. I doubt CSI will ever stop reproducing them, but if I Jones for it too much after these two plants I can put money in an envelope and wait like the pre-internet days. I'll have a while to hunt for acceptable crosses.


I meant to comment what a good idea your I assume foam balls on top of your support sticks is my bamboo sticks have taken skin off the side of my face before bending over to peek at trichromes! I live in a legal state now days I occasionally go over the ludicrous low plant numbers but play it safe but shoot at my age they couldn't afford to pay for all my meds if jailed lol. I am going to steal your shop vac filter idea! I have some lying around great thinking!, I hate to see what the last week did to my power bill -24 deg F been awhile since we dipped and stayed so low my old vehicles are hating it I miss the block heaters days...

this was late 70's early 80's, all weed was smoked good or bad. You bitched about the bad - then kept smoking it taking about "fuck that guy" and such. I had a steady real job in construction so I had some older head contacts who just knew more people than me in different circles - that was the key was to have access to as many of these circles as possible so that when it ran low you had a long list of phone numbers to try. It was rare for there to be more than two or three kinds floating around at the same time.

On the shopvac filter and the ping-pong stick-toppers, the toppers ain't my idea but it stuck after seeing it somewhere. The pre-filter was just an idea while changing the one on an actual vacuum... Generic ones are under $10 on the river.

I obviously don't concern myself with plant counts. Live rural. If the cops are at your door, it aint initially gonna be to count plants. You have to do something to warrant their attentions - unintentional pun lol.

Got my last self-Christmas present in the mail yesterday. I figured $50 is $50, and I like new smoke gear. I got the Dynavap-B which is the silicone body model. No o-rings that can go bad and the working parts are still the same stainless steel because they have to be. The tips are interchangable with the regular models - if you add the o-rings.

I'm a heavy smoker. While it will be a cool addition to getting high, I don't see it replacing anything. There is a different kind of buzz you get from it, but I can't really describe the difference. The thing clicks when it gets up to "vaping-temp" which I think is where the adjustment is needed to match what you want.

When I tried it I stopped heating when it clicked and started hitting it. It clicks again when it cools down so there's a window where you need to be drawing in, but you can't hit it like a pipe - not enough airflow. And if you carb it while hitting I think you are just letting stuff cook while not sucking the vapor through the screen. Hitting it when it clicks the second or third hit is when you get some visible vapor/smoke and it feels like you had a hit. The first hit is like flavor only, after that it tastes less but feels better.

One thing I have been trying is heating it after the click tfor varying amounts of time to get it hotter before hitting it. That seems to work well on the first hit, but after that you stand the "risk" of igniting it. Doesn't hurt anything if you do but it'll need a cleaning after. When it did that I just went with it, and I got 3-4 hits from basically a slow-burn one-hitter and I got a killer head rush

Anyway, it takes getting used to. For the light user I can see this replacing smoking. For me I'm having fun with it because it's new. Ask me in a few months if I still use it .

the nanner thing bit me bad once.for me it's the next batch of oil then smoke the rest soapstone pipe or hemp paper.i'll watch and see how long the dinavap last,service life thing x lbs thru vape!

I have a small collection of dynavap devices and most serve a specific purpose.

@H.A.F. if you buy an "M" or regular Ti tip you can get a "full cap" experience. The B has a half bowl chamber, just a heads up to improve the DynaVap experience with those that have a higher tolerance. And like you mentioned you can add it to the B stem. The one thing I've found a bit annoying is how loose the cap is on the B tip.

It's nice having a solid half bowl setting so I can pack it tight. If I set the screen for a half bowl on a newer tip I use the "straw method" otherwise I run the risk of knocking the screen out of position and spilling herb.

The dynavap converted me to vaporizing. I look forward to the day I get to play with the dynacoil with concentrates someday

Thanks for the additional info but I am not venturing down another rabbit hole. I am replying to the pertinent part. I can fill it twice and that's fine but the vaping high itself is just different to me. I smoked cancer sticks for a few decades, so that probably has something to do with it.

The price and the fact that it needs no electricity made me want to try it. I thought about getting extra screens for it but it seems sturdy enough and doesn't clog like a smokig screen.

I am a paper & bong dude whether i like it or not. I now have this for vaping as another way to try all my weed. I also have the nug-smasher and have a few dabbing accessories, but I don't see diving down that rabbit hole either. I can see buying a new banger if one breaks, but I don't see me worrying about it while I don't have one. I noticed the cap on the "B" is very flimsy. I can see that being damaged easily just enough so it doesn't work right. Same thing, if that occurs I think I might buy a replacement because it works well, but I wouldn't ne Jones-ing and stalking the mailman waiting on the new one.

i did;nt know they had that much of a selection, of vape devices round here it's a different charge in the money cog.

There will always be innovation. It's just that in the weed industryb you have to have intimate knowledge with how the plant work to make a device that works. And you have to understand how stoners work LOL
