I do, but I also think the inputs available (or lacking) will allow those characteristics to shine or be unnoticeable.

Supposedly a lot of the resistances to those issues are on the same genes that carried that skunk smell
They do exist just like there are certain breeds of zucchini and cucumber that are also resistant to powdery mildew.
