One of the coolest things i have seen while baked was last year a Lady bug found it's way into my indoor grow. It was on the ground with no movement so i just assumed it was dead. For what ever reason i get the little 420 scope and have a close look at this critter. Just about the time i got it focused in the head of this bug starts coming out and under that microscope the neck looked about 10 foot long. That Bug is one bad ass critter would hate to be a spider mite and see that monster coming after me!!

Several years ago I was in Humboldt doing all things Humboldt, walking through the redwood forests, looking up at the giant canopy. It was actually raining but you couldn't feel anything, maybe a drop or two. 350 feet in the sky, all competing for that sunlight, with all of that photosynthesis occurring - all of the co2 that was being processed and all of that oxygen being produced. In the sky, the atmosphere up there. It's one of the only places on Earth with a decent ancient redwood population left.

So our beloved Earth has a climate problem that's getting worse. Holes in the atmosphere due to too many emissions. I don't know all the details of it, just enough to know it's a problem. We feed our plants various nutes trying to find the optimal blend for that dank. Maybe we can come up with a super nute to grow super redwoods that could stretch into the atmosphere, and "repair" the atmosphere. Reduce the carbon footprint via photosynthesis or something.

Maybe a movie idea. Hollywoodize it somehow by having a huge conglomerate like monsanto come in and bully the game, then "overdo" it somehow with some bad side effects happening out of it. Oldskool hippies to the rescue?

As usual the microscale is superior to the macro. Both in beauty and in productivity. Scientist estimate 50 to 85% of earths oxygen is produced by phytoplanktons in the oceans. Makes you think how big the world is if that huge tree and thousands of others doesn’t make a dent. Trillions upon trillions of these creatures inhabit these oceans and they create substantially more oxygen compared to all the forests in the world. Makes you think how big the universe is and how big it is for the algae. Then you realise you may be the algae of something on a bigger scale. Love algae. :)
