"hardening off" is gradually acclimating your plants to a new grow environment, not so much of a big deal for warm climates, but in colder climates where you start seedlings indoors in the spring before moving them outside you want to bring them outside for a few hours to get used to the cooler temps, different amount of light, strong winds, etc. etc.What does “hardening off” mean, and how is it supposed to work, if you will.
