Personally i use this glue brush from Lowes over the canna brush. Found it 3 days after i bought the canna brush on impulse. Glue brush, you can get in and do a nice detailed job. Canna brush is huge. Lol. Probably just a personal preference.

Trimming is a job I despise. I leave the sugar leaf on through the whole cure and just knock them off with a silicone basting brush when they're done curing.

If I don't trim like a pro the clientele complain. Fucking babies

And, if you don’t like it, you still have a brush that is great for spreading glue. It’s a win-win

I wet trim and then use a cuticle remover to flick off the leftover sugar leaves. The little V works well at removing fan leaf stumps at the base.

It doesn't take too long because of the wet trim. It's definitely OCD. They look a thousand times better afterwards though!

Also I only use shears to buck down the plant. I've never trimmed with them outside of helping a friend harvest his plants many years ago. I feel like this is looked down upon, but I've hated using scissors ever since I was a left handed kid in kindergarten.

I have "notched" scissors to reach in and cut those pesky leaf stems.
