Anyone grow tomatoes indoors?*

I have 40-50 seeds from about a dozen plants where the whole tent caught a little before I caught a herm. All labeled by what the mom is.

I only save them if the mom is fire, and then I figure that there's a 50/50 chance of the seed leaning toward the herm 'dad'.

That means a 50/50 chance of some new cross that you'll never see again that might be the best thing ever.

I am just getting over a see-buying addiction, so it'll be a while. I have way too much shit I paid for - and freebies - to be dropping the bagseeds yet. I ran one a bit ago and it tossed nanners up top about 4 weeks in. That's another thing about the bagseeds - no problem at all culling at the drop of a hat.

I still dried it and smoked some - and saved the rest for hash because it was surprisingly good!

i started with a mater that was bruised seeds inside trying to bust the skin ,took knife to the hide scoop out sprouts tomato insides and all, trans plant to 1 gal pot ,wife happy. adds a bit knf to the deal

i did this not to grow fruits indoors but to get them ready for outdoors my experience was they like rich organic soil and a lot of root space so i did couple of 2 gallon bags with a lot of manure and just watered them, these became 60-70 cm plants all green everywhere and ready to go outdoors never had so much tomatoes as i did that year and dont forget to bury the stems pluck all the leaves and just leave the top nod above the soil do that with every transplant also they benefit from a good aeration of the topsoil once in a while you know really just distrupt the roots in the topsoil turn it over they constantly grow more roots so they always like to have more space

You can use a paintbrush and pollinate the flowers, some use an electric toothbrush for the vibrations ( to mimic bees )
works for both tomatoes and peppers

I found Epson salts help with the leaf wilting ( indoors) but they truly are mute pig Too!
It isn’t uncommon for bottoms to wilt a bit, and has no adverse reactions to what’s happening with the tops and or blooms.
Also, if you take off the first blooms, you’ll build better stem structure. They will still need support tho!
