Anyone grow tomatoes indoors?*

Tomatoes like it nice n warm. They're nute hogs, too.
Yeah I'm thinking my temps are not warm enough. I keep it around 76 but it gets lower. I was thinking some type of leaf burn like not humid enough not sure. These are celebrity, I suppose ill.just have to dial them.in and see what works and what don't. I bet some.of these organic guys have done em indoors. @H.A.F. ?

I have some going now, but that's just getting them started to put outside. I think you're right about the particulars for tomatoes and weed not matching. I have one that's advertised as a 'dwarf' cherry tomato that I may try keeping inside. You can get your 4" starter pots ready to transplant though.

We grow 'em inside but it's in a dome greenhouse. (and although we live in zone 5 @ 7100 ft elevation......the Dome comes in 3 climnate zones higher....which puts it in the same climate zone as Talahassee.) Just be aware that they take a shitload of room......and indeterminates witll just keep going and going/vinig and vining. We are just about to take down the last vine (Black Krim) from last years go of it. Still producing...albeit smaller 'maters than in summer/at the onset of flower/etc. We've also noticed that some heirlooms do far better indoors. Cherokees/Krims/cherry tomatoes all do very well.
Yeah I know all about tomatoes. Grow em every year outdoors. Tried em twice indoors and each time they just don't grow right. Just didn't know if it was a lighting issue that needs to be dialed in.
I wonder if you'd be better off growing a determinate plant indoors since they grow to a certain size and stop. I looked up Chocolate Sprinkles and that is an indeterminate plant.

I ordered a random "dwarf cherry" online and was thinking the same thing. I got a dwarf pepper as well.
I think that some of the stuff just doesn't work under the high intensity light for weed. My aloe does great by the window but will not tolerate a tent.
I bet it's the one thing older blurples are good for
I'm growing determinate celebrities now. I moved em under a cmh to see if it helps. I think the LED was just to much light maybe not really sure why the lower leaves always look fuked up.

The tomatoes that do the best for me outside are the ones planted in the south side of the house in full sun in front of a brick wall. There, they they've with lots of water and nutrients.
I think that if anything, perhaps you're not getting things hot or bright enough for them. But I've never grown tomatoes indoors so I'm not an authority.

I'm dropping tomato seeds in solo cups today. I should have started them sooner; spring is around the corner here.
I've only started them indoors twice so far. I'll update the ones I'm germinating.
These were Rutger tomatoes I started during the comp last year, the AD x AC are pictured germinating in the solo cups.
