Just got an email from Atreum about an overstock clearance sale on their 60 watt 144.2 boards..... $17.99
Might be worth it for those needing some extra veg lights. I've had good luck with their boards.

Got thinking a person could build a 240 watt veg set up for around $150.
If you buy a case of 20 boards they're just over 10 bucks, that's a helluva deal.

I've been looking to upgrade my veg setup. How well do plants veg under 4k light. I think I'm mostly in the 6-6.5k range right now. What could i expect to change? Node spacing?

Sorry man, I honestly don't know. I'm curious as to how they would do as well.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge than I can chime in.
Just seems like some really good pricing.
I've got 2 of the 288.2 120 watt 3000k boards.
And a Vela 120 watt 3400k for my 2x4.
No complaints other than I get very little stretch with my combo.
If in fact the 4000k are better for veg, I might just build another 2x4 setup?

3500 and 4000K's work good for veg or flower in my opinion. I started buying the higher K's here recently for the extra "blue" (400-430) for the
last 2 or 3 weeks of flower. There's so much to learn about plant manipulation with light spectrums and intensity. We are just scratching the surface.

Ya thats a hell of a deal if u ask me... A box of 20 for 215$... 5 hlg 240ab drivers for 250$ = 465$ for 1200 watts..
I like how these boards dont require a heatsinks, i like how the boards are a perfect square, and also like how the diodes are evenly spaced across the whole board.

They are very similar to the qb132s i got and the qb120's from HLG.

Just ordered 4 of these boards from Atreum and an HLG-240H-48A driver from Amazon.
Gonna have a new 240 watt veg setup for less than $150.
Should make for some good coverage in a 2x4.
