Bandage tape at a minimum to hold it together, but grafting wax or something to keeo air out wouuld help, or hitting it with some aloe or something in the wound.
It’s crazy how fast these things healAll these guys have it covered just figured I'd show what happens if you do nothing. Somehow these split and i didn't notice till about a week ago. Can't even force them together now. They didn't seem to skip a beat. Grew just as tall as the others around them.

My first limb that was broken from weight went unnoticed until that limb started ripening before the rest of the plant. Brown pistils a few weeks before the rest and trying to get done and do it's job before death.It’s crazy how fast these things heal
Nice. Replacing the paper tape in my kitThings that structurally mend breaks is teflon tape or grafting tape. Also want to bump up calcium and silicone.

I use that regularly if I top a plant and it is already hollow there. I just make a little cap for it.Grafting wax is another product however l only recommend it on wounds that have healed up and scarred over to keep the bugs out.
