Are buds supposed to snap back to shape when squeezed?

I’ve had these hung up for 11 days so far and they look and smell good (going for a slow dry) haven’t smoked it yet but was wondering if the buds are supposed to be squishy like this?
the last pic is before I squeezed it with my fingers, it never regained its shape.
Also branches/stems don’t snap when bent in the dry room

Just my opinion, so take it with a grain of salt...If it springs back completely, then it is likely still too wet, but it also depends on how much pressure you are using. If the buds are nice and sticky then pressing them is going to essentially glue the calyx surfaces together and that's going to prevent them from springing back to their former shape.

Lol they’re very sticky especially for my first harvest. I guess I should smoke some huh?
