I know a guy that works for a place that ships packages he kinda figured this one guy was getting stuff shipped to him because he was always getting packages from Cali so one time he stole a package hey got like 100 of those carts and 200 grams of live resin and a pound of bud that was 4 different kinds all qp’s

It would be nice if you had the same # of days from dropping the seeds till harvest as the rest of us.
Everyone should be given the same # of days IMO.
It really only matters at the end if my buds are up there with everyone else's. I'm more in this for the fun of it than for the win.

That is a "rule of thumb". If you flip before that they aren't gonna die - they'll just take longer to show preflowers while they get to that 'mature' point. An immature plant will not flower -it's just whether they are getting 12/12 or 18/6 while waiting on it.
What I think he meant was that H suggested we all flip to flower as soon as they are sexually mature rather than letting them veg a little longer.

Theres a sweet spot in this. Too soon and your plant just isnt mature enough to produce enough hormones to flower so its vegging 12/12 and your losing growth. Too late and well like you said your vegging when it could be beginning to transition already. Ideally you want to let a plant mature showing preflowers before flip but if your hunting pressed for time space etc its node offset for sure.

Im running 12/1 in veg(GLR) as I find it really helps my plants to flower faster and harder once they get flipped. Them being in dwc they shouldn't miss a beat growth wise in a 4 -5 wk veg. Hopefully the "sweet spot" is somewhere in that range, but I could probably go 6 wks veg if need be and get away with 8 wks of flower. This is still tickling the shit out of me watching so many people growing the same strain at once as I can totally just compare how my plants are doing to other people that know what the hell they are doing.

3.5 weeks in dwc you should be golden but I'm unfamiliar with 12/1. Are you using a far red to put then to sleep. Something tells me that 1 hour spent in a 0 process state.

I took a quick glance and thought it was 1 off lol. That still would cut your rest period significantly if the fact plants take around 2 hours to fall asleep without the red initiation.
I’ve heard of this for outdoor but never thought to try it indoors. I’m going to need to try this.

Outdoor? Like light dep? I'm really lost now. What's the science that says its beneficial cause from what I understand this would have more negatives than positive? Too busy to read or I can later.
No, it’s for keeping plants from flowering when the days are short in veg, but it explains how using that schedule for veg indoors works well for the plants, too.
