Is this rust or a deficiency?

This is an auto flower and yes there’s nute burn lol. Already did a clean water flush and now I alternate with water only feeds but I’m still happy with how it looks..... until today


I’m using heavy 16 nutes+ a tiny amount of powerSI bloom. Promix HP, smart pots, growers choice LEDs

Rust spots are usually a sign of a calcium deficiency. It could’ve been cause by the lockout you had so just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t progress. I’d also recommend a low dose of CalMag with every watering…especially if you are growing under LED.

That bottom inch or 2 of your container could be a little too acidic.
I have a PH probe and you can see the progression of acidity when you get to that last couple inches.
Might be your problem.

I personally prefer it that way. I run Humboldts Secret CalMag & Iron. It has a little N in it (2-0-0) but you don’t need to use much at all. I usually mix it up at about 2mL/gallon of water.

It’s called revolver. When I bought some seeds from this shop they tossed in a free auto flower lol

Same as i use. If you happen to run across one with a lower N mention it here. I've been looking for one to get rid of all the N later in flower. Have heard you can go without calmag all together later in flower but I'm in hydro and haven't gotten up the courage to just cut it out at week 7-8.

That looks like an auto flower I have from sweet Seeds. Makes nice long spears like your pic.

I personally like to use Roots Organics HPK 0-4-3...you're getting some extra calcium in there from the guano and no N plus some Mag from the Langbeinite - i use it every feed in flower at 10 ml/gal

Roots also just came out with a liquid CalMag supplement that's got zero N in it but i've never used that

If you can, I would check if they got it, if not 90%+ of hydro stores can preorder grow more products and it will prolly be cheaper and no shipping .
