They would be F1 not R1, R1 although not used often would refer to a reversed line like say H beans makes R1 crosses with a reversed female. Gu makes F1 seeds with a reg male to female. And S1 is when you self the plant and use that pollen to make seeds with the same parent plantMale is a complete unknown. They were running a lot from different breeders. All these are R1
F1/R1 doesn't matter so much for me as the unknown daddy. If you could find out an "it's A, B, or C" with possible dads you might get more bites.View attachment 74117
MAYBE he meant F1, I don't know. He's been hit twice in the past 5 years on his bike. Doesn't seem the same. Was a really smart guy. I've known him for almost 30 years.
Like I said. Just trying to help him out. I've never messed with breeding... don't care to.
I hear you but a R1 is a reversed plant. All the strains he grew were autos right? And all of roc bud strains are auto if I’m not mistaken so unless he introduced a male on purpose, the seeds are likely the result of one or more plants going herm on him and dropping some pollen@Evergreengardener . I don't know man. Breeding is not my thing. I just go with what he tells me. I grow... that's my thing. And, I've gotten pretty good at it. As far as breeding goes... not my gig (never attempted). Maybe it's miscommunication, but who knows?
OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but auto's means fems? So if he didn't pollenate them on purpose they are herm seeds?Everything was an auto. I think he's addicted to them!
The only difference between autos and photos is the ruderalis in them. Auto seeds come in regular or feminized seeds.OK, correct me if I'm wrong, but auto's means fems?
They do make the regs but most of the time they are fem seed yes and roc bud makes fem versionsOK, correct me if I'm wrong, but auto's means fems? So if he didn't pollenate them on purpose they are herm seeds?
Auto flowers have cannabis rudelis in them and therefore don’t have a vegetative growth phase and go straight into flowering no matter what amount of light they are receiving .... you can’t clone autoflowers can only make seeds to reproduce - regular or feminized - but if you cross an autoflower with an indica or Sativa or hybrid approximately 25 % of the seeds will carry the autoflower traightOK, correct me if I'm wrong, but auto's means fems? All of this assumes you added pollen and it wasn't a herm.Auto flowers have cannabis rudelis in them and therefore don’t have a vegetative growth phase and go straight into flowering no matter what amount of light they are receiving .... you can’t clone autoflowers can only make seeds to reproduce - regular or feminized - but if you cross an autoflower with an indica or Sativa or hybrid approximately 25 % of the seeds will carry the autoflower traight
