I think the majority feel that way, but it's only a handful that will say so out loud. They know full well the consequences they risk. But as the man states - when families get desperate, desperate times require desperate measures. Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose [ you can quote me].
Most everyone saw this day coming even before the death of George Floyd, when it was still only Wuhan plague days, thus the mass rush to the gun stores.

Yup, people don’t realize how many people have huge amounts of ammo and guns. I have a ton of guns and ammo here, and enough reloading supplies to make another 1,000+ rounds...and I’m not even a “preppier”. Most of it was inherited when my dad passed away. Preppers have absurd amounts of ammo.

Problem is few know how to use them. Different when it’s not paper on the other end of your sights. Also vastly different shooting at the range and snatching some turd out of bed in the middle of the night. I do training. I’d recommend it to everyone to go train and learn proper use and handling. Even if you don’t have a gun.
Most liberals argument toward this guy would be “We have guns too”. So did the turds we rolled up overseas.
I suspect there’s a lot of dudes out there just like this guy. They remember war. Think Peyton manning forgot how to throw a football since he retired?

I totally agree, but some of them won’t figure out how horrific it actually is until they pull the trigger while pointed at another human for the first time. I would personally have a very hard time shooting another person, but I would if my life depended on it. Hell, I’m getting soft in my older age and don’t even like shooting animals that are destroying my garden anymore.

I am completely the opposite. These people rioting are domestic terrorists - plain and simple. I took an oath - and as far as I am concerned it had no expiration date - I'm still getting paychecks. I'm not going out looking for trouble, but by God if it finds me I have enough ammo and a clear field of fire to do some damage on the way out.

I have steel targets for front yard decoration.Then again, where I live you can hear random gunfire almost daily. Most people have enough land here for their own little shooting range
