I'm honestly a little confused on what your asking. The energy used the create the light turns into light and loss from the conversion turns into heat. The light hits the plants. The plants convert this light energy into usuable energy using chloroplast. The byproduct of the loss. Heat. If your plants absorbed all the energy without a loss to conversion no heat would be produced from the light. The photons are energy and when they hit particles of other surfaces and tissues they create vibrations. The more rapidly something vibrates the more hot it becomes. The heat is noticable but it is not the only and main source of heat in your tent as stated. But where does the energy used to create the light go? It can’t just vanish, it has to go somewhere? I know some is used by the plants to grow, and then it is converted into oxygen and whatever else, but is that amount that isn’t converted to heat even noticeable?
With all due respect idk about this considering the way you approached the situation. Continuing forward I'll treat it as such. I dont want to be condescending when someone is genuinely interested in learning. If you look at what I'm saying with an open mind its should click for you. I dont believe any of you are truly stupid. Just stuck in your trenches you built surviving this war we call life. It was never my intention to make a it battle. I have enough of those.Sorry, I was honesty just looking for an explanation. Science is one area where there are hard answers and I don’t get butt hurt if someone teaches me something I don’t properly understand.
Masks are supposed to be good at keeping someone from spreading the virus. They are less effective in preventing you from catching it (unless your mask is a fitted N95 or better). You want to wear a mask - fine - don't give a damn. Doesn't hurt me one bit. and if they are effective like you say, then me not wearing one should be no problem.
Ok, this makes sense to me, but I’m still honestly curious about how much of a difference there is in overall heat output between something like LED and MH. The article I read, which I can’t find, made it seem like it was so small that it wasn’t even worth saying there was a difference.I'm honestly a little confused on what your asking. look at my replies to you. I didn’t “snap” until you laughed at me. Maybe that wasn’t your intention, but I took it that way, and I shouldn’t have lashed out the way I did either. With all due respect idk about this considering the way you approached the situation. It will be proportionate to the efficiency of each. That includes the bulbs or chips and the ballast or drivers. The difference in your electric bill between the two is a good way to compare the heat in a sense. This is just random numbers btw and much more variables are involved. This is to make things simple. To produce the photons a 300 watt led makes you need a 500 watt hps.The output is the same but the input is different. That 200 watts is being wasted by generating heat instead of light due to a less efficient conversion process. Now if its winter and you need heat well maybe it's not all a loss then.Ok, this makes sense to me, but I’m still honestly curious about how much of a difference there is in overall heat output between something like LED and MH. I honestly took it the wrong way myself. As in you were assuming I disnt understand such and making it publicly seem so. The earlier part of a post just seemed like deflection to being wrong and trying to cover clear it up instead of saying oh ok cool etc. That's all. Now back to politics so we can continue arguing please lmao!look at my replies to you. I didn’t “snap” until you laughed at me. Maybe that wasn’t your intention, but I took it that way, and I shouldn’t have lashed out the way I did either.
Indeed!!Great sign, but I'd like it better if it weren't blocking the scenery.
But why do we need masks when a "cure" exists lol.Masks are supposed to be good at keeping someone from spreading the virus. They are less effective in preventing you from catching it (unless your mask is a fitted N95 or better).
If everyone wore a mask transmission would be reduced to the same degree as a full blown lockdown.
Still Confused About Masks? Here’s the Science Behind How Face Masks Prevent Coronavirus
We talked to UCSF epidemiologist George Rutherford, MD, and infectious disease specialist Peter Chin-Hong, MD, about the CDC’s reversal on mask-wearing, the current science on how masks work, and what to consider when choosing a mask.www.ucsf.edu
No one is trying to take your rights away. I would ask that you wear a mask for the sake of those you love and everyone else interested in getting this fucking pandemic behind us and saving lives.
Don't fret, amigo. Our justice system is lights out with this kind of thing.Tomorrow will be one year since Epstein didn’t kill himself...
Complaining about you wearing a mask while in your yard? Jesus. So do they wear one when they shower too?My nieghbors are gay af they will suck a dick and lick man asshole but complains about me not wearing a mask in my front lawn by my self
A different tinder fag over his house every other night but opens his mouth to me about a mask
This year I will dump all my leaves and stem after harvest on his welcome mat
Well something that isn't too difficult to determine is that they are dead and Covid played a part in their deaths. You can throw that 9k figure in the trash.I don’t know if those people would or wouldn’t have died, that’s too difficult to determine I think.
