I keep mine in a glass jar like I use to store flower
Fridge = condensation in my mind but I don't claim to be smart either
I know glass sweats, so desiccants definitely. I use the thick plastic to cut down on that some. The big (50g) silica gel packs I use have moisture indicators and are "rechargeable"
. I have a dehydrator, so all packs are rechargeable LOL
Anywhoooo, so far I have yet to see any change in the indicators to have to change the packs. Condensation is not from the fridge, but a bad seal or big temperature fluctuations. So keeping them in a crisper drawer helps reduce some problems from regular door opening. But silica packs are cheap and I use them everywhere. put some loose beads in the seed-tube, a small pack inside each individual package, and a fat one in the hermetically sealed container. Overkill can't hurt
