They’re nothing at all like what they used to sell. Night and day difference.

They all get hot , u can fuck w the two dials to bring the heat down a bit

Yes i had to turn it down some. As the air cools down sum i should be able to go back to full power. My grow room is in an outbuilding and it is 85 today temp in room is holding at 95 .

Got three Mars and they are all great. Still waiting to use the tsl I got.

I had the ts1000 when it first came out. Nice little light for price. Like opie said they are alot better than the older mars products.

I did notice that about the driver on the SP250.. I have the same one on a pair of boards and when I dim the boards the driver cools down. When I dim the SP, driver stays hot. Tried both knobs with meter, must be something to do with the setup It’s still cooler than the other setup on full crank by quite a bit though

Mars has made 2 versions of the TS and SP series of lights. When those series first came out....they did great. However, customers were complaining the wires were not long enough for the drivers etc. So....Mars then released the same series again but this time around with much much longer cords for the drivers to be mounted somewhere outside of the tent. A great feature if you don't want to turn the driver down.

It's a bit pricey tho. I feel like the reg sp250 would do quite well in a 2x4

TSL-2000 or SP-250 would be more then fine for a 2x4.

Personally....I would use the TSL-2000 for a 2x4 if I had to choose. The diodes are spaced further apart on it compared to closer together on the SP-250. I am not taking away from the 250 either as it's my favorite of their lights.

I’m not sure if I’ll keep the plant pictured above, due to a light leak (which was 100% my fault) she went back to vegging and looks awful, this is her at 5 weeks-

And it’s also been really hot, both at night (lights on) and during the day, so I’m sure that factored into the stress she’s been through.
What would any of you guys do, finish it or ditch it?

I just wonder what this is gonna look like if I finish it? I’m thinking it’ll be good but it’ll be airy buds.
