Hey! Trying a diy qb just bought the boards today but I have no clue about that stuff. talked to @MtRainDog about it and he helped a decent amount so I know the drivers and I need and the pin heatsink was just wondering about what else I need or tips and suggestions! Just got two orders of these to try and switch to a 5x5 tent! 
Get yourself some "Wagos" or "Lever Nuts" instead of wire nuts. They make wiring so much easier and neater looking. I'd also recommend getting a potentiometer if your drivers are dimmable. These are what I got for my lights and they have a nice feel to them.

I have never built a light and dont even know where to start BUT this talk of cords is important Ive found. I build stereo amplifiers as a hobby and am also anal about the cords and wiring. I even attempt to straighten out wires before installation, make sure it fits how I want, is routed correctly, then and only then solder it up. It looks so much better and more importantly it will make trouble shooting later, allot easier.

I have built 2 of my lights....first one took a full day because I had NO IDEA what I was doing. Wago's make the world sooooo much easier. DIY FTW and it isnt even close.

First off i had no clue those things was said bout u. That's not good to say that bout anyone.
Secondly, yes i got one of there lights. Havnt got the space to use it yet. Still new in box.
Last, when i asked for ur opinions on the light i was just wanting ur honest opinion & any info that u had on it cause u had a side by side test going.
To reply back rudely to my honest questions i had was surprising, then say u had no side by side going on was puzzling?
@HAF & @Opie1 didnt get bent outta shape when i asked them the same questions as i asked u?
But i no now not to ask u a legit honest question bout anything.

I was referring to me asking perm 6 months ago on his opinion on those xb's cause i got one and i new he had used them. His reply from get go was arrogantly rude to me. I was just was surprised he got bent outta shape wit me over honest questions..
