Thats bullshit. Nobody wants to lock up folks who refuse to wear a mask. They want them to care enough for their common man that they would wear the damn mask to try to get a grip on this virus. I just got back from Walmart and seen dozens of individuals without masks, since when is it OK to spread this virus because its a inconvenience to them to wear a mask. The way I see it is, if you are so stupid and disrespectful that you would voluntarily not wear a mask in public, well then, you should be fined(traffic ticket-its not much but its a start), with the fines going to help with the medical costs of local residents who need it. If you want to spread the virus, there's no reason you shouldn't have to help pay for it.

Just because you have a mask on doesnt mean you are safe. A mask isnt 100% effective and particles still flow thru and around it. Theres more to this also. i understand that airlines are starting to book the middle seats again(that sucks because it was nice having the room) but they havent dismissed the mask requirement. He would have put it on correctly or got off at the earliest opportunity. I would have raised holy hell till then. Rules are rules, either abide by them or get the fuck off the plane.

It’s a virus . The whole mask deal in mitigating the risk would be subjective to a whole mass of variables and no ones been able to conclusively say yes or no to it’s effectiveness . It’s a bit like a motorcycle helmet in my opinion , yeah you feel a sense of self preservation but in reality if shit goes down good luck .

Actually, once - with the media help - you can label the other group as "evil" instead of just having a different opinion, you can justify all of your actions as moral. You are fighting evil.
