Topanga....man where has this been all my life.
Wonderful pine and gas flavor...like an OG taste...fantastic...great bud density...had to clean my snips 3 times trimming 2 plants. GREASY and tasty. And 2 1/2 hours from a 5/16 doob i was baked....not gently either.
REALLY baked. I couldnt even garden for an hour. I was a human fly catcher.
And my one sickly almost died 3 times and i frakenbeaned her...she is showing a set of green leaves....i can continue it. OR lets be real...i need to get 2 more packs and find my keeper. 100% satisfied with Topanga.
I cant see anyone not liking it...unless it is too strong because i can see that.

The bloom booster came today. Wow what a deal. It was 25% off and they made an error and sent me a replacement sack

But i am not buying any more Advanced Nutrients...i am just adjusting to a learning curve and will figure out how to tailor a combination of all of them to work. Jacks should be more stable in water systems.
And for tomato and squash...i might need a dump truck to haul something to the fair...i have pumpkin and watermelon seeds...
And i thought shit was crazy...my garage tent is full of.....SQUASH PLANTS...blasting with 24-0 400 watts of 3 k cobs to fast track them in that pot so i can put them somewhere.
I have never had so much fun gardening.

The 32 special...i have ordered a humdifier because i can not get the tent past 35% RH and its usually 28 to 30%...The result is FROSTY but a gabillion popcorn buds due to stress. Might as well learn as fast as i can (what not to do...2020 edition).
4 different strains. GG4 and Oil slick...maybe water white and...a dubstep i think

I took a weekend off of the computer. I have to do that more often.
Pool was opened on Friday..Started at 10C..got to 13 on Saturday..17 yesterday (it was 21 overnight)...today we hit 20 i think.
20 is 68F....we are getting there. 2 days of 30C heat are here right now so we should hit mid 70s. I might even go in it today. With the cover on its an ugly pit of mosquito larvae (next year i open it way sooner). Now its a covid oasis.
And my favorite outdoor sofa is right by my neighbor who loves weed smoke....suck it.
I chopped a big Topanga yesterday. This one should be 5 to 6 oz. Smells the best of the bunch but they all smell good....2 to go.
I culled out a few runts...and 1 walter white that is just too lanky to be useful. The problem with the fancy 3k boards...wow if they are not close to the light they STRETCH. Not every strain but wow some of them have 12 inch internodes.
A couple of friends came over and saw my purple punch...tasted a couple of buds and left with 4 clones each....time to get them in the ground. You know things have changed when you show the cultivar on FACEBOOK and let your family know you can give them a couple of clones...I need the practice (Its getting easier that is for sure!).
This weeks projects are many...one of the big ones is making a new light out of my existing stuff. I want a better light for the 32 special so i am making it. 4 cobs in the corners (3k citi) and 1 4k QB 135 in the middle. Both are dimmable. So it can veg under 4 k and then increase the light as needed. Max power will be 380 watts (240 +140), It is OVERkill but they will dim
Squash are all outside...cukes and beans are popping up now.
I have never had such a green backyard. Even I am impressed and I love doing it. It actually gives me joy.
This weed growing thing is branching out to....food !
I have been a super cranky, like a sore tooth miserable asshat!.... That is what covid did to me. And Canada is as close to a socialist country as a democracy can be...So how would a non Canadian understand that? It is like an outsider looking in and saying you have a gun problem. It is so foreign to our way of life it is inconceivable..
A break from the news is a welcome relief...the 24 hour news agencies have nothing else to discuss. So we do need sports!

Esos gear. Magnum PI was a breeze to clone too. I have a pair of them with roots out of the pots and it was cut into a plug in coco (i like that to keep the moisture longer so they dont dry out on the heating pad).

I changed out my tent intake from 4 inch to 6 inch duct.
5 square foot tents are extracted through a y pipe into the 32 special.
The 32 special is directly hooked to another y pipe that is adjustable. Half is extracting the heat and humdity out of 3 tents and the other half is pulling the air from the veg room. This is pulled with a 6 inch vortex filter into the bloom room (which is scrubbed and extracted with another 6 inch fan).
Tent A to the 32 special was a 4 inch pipe. Tent A was way too high in humidity and the 32 was 30%
Changed to a 6 inch pipe and now Tent A is at 60% RH And the 32 is at 45%. That is a lot better ! (And that is lights on).
The humidifier will not have to work very hard at all but i want to get it to 50 to 55% for most of the grow.
I took 12 cuts from my outdoor purple punch plant and it doesnt look like I touched it. GMO cake. It was looking rough and then it snapped out of it...then i slapped her around and put her in a tomato cage...Watching too much american horror store cake ! Take that !!
I am grooming that GMO cake to have more air flow between the colas. This is the last time i can bend those stems. Wow can you tell the difference between a soil plant and a bubbler grown plant in the stalk. The tiny stalks on the GMO cake were almost impossible to squeeze. Tree twig kind of problem.
In a bubbler they are more like bamboo. And you can bend them a couple of times before they toughen up to twigs.
I think we might be pretty close to summer...time to chillax...fuck covid!

The 32 special tent....having a passive 6 inch pipe instead of a 4 inch pipe...it fixed the problem.
Tent A and Tent B are 48 to 50 %
Tent A was 70 and tent B was 30 so...BOOM..

I will wash my coco but...you dont get 100% back.
So i will do my best to keep it...in a giant commander tote. I found a bottle of encymes that are for breaking down the roots (in my stash of stuff). 1 tsp covers 3 gallons of water so i did 5 gallons and soaked it for 3 days then drained it. We will see. It smelled normal. Looked good. Plants started growing right away..
Hydro stores are open and being safe with masks and gloves. I loaded up with enough for a while...especially if i wash my hydroton and coco and reuse it.
4 x 10 gallon packs of coco
5 gallons of hydroton
1 gallon of 29% food grade peroxide
should last 2 months or so (the peroxide).
And a fancy bubbler. I will try it out on my next bubbler run (2 X Esosseeds Magnum PI (C99 X LVTK)) Clones were rooted and put in baskets in a flood and drain yesterday...today they are happy so it wont be long.
A nicer tray to hold rapid rooters too
I started some seeds 2 days ago and did the soak them in water method...well that worked 100% too.
HeathenRaiders Helloween HP and SeaWench are both sprouted. I will post pics when they look like more than a seedling but they are shaping nice.
A whole lot of stuff is moving past a 500ml container tomorrow. Dubstep is hillarious...most of them are mad that they have no root room. Dubstep is getting BIGGER. Dubstep dont need no space.
I wanted to flush them but they are beauty and purple phenos so...up pot tomorrow!

2.3 would probably be a 9 or 10 litre pot. It is what i am going to be using for a while.

The pool was 22 this morning...now we are talking! 72 F....I expect to hit 78 today based on how yesterday did and today is the same conditons..30C and 40 with the humidex...BRING IT. After today it cools off and on Friday the high is 60...and i will use my pool cover and swim in 75 degree water when its 60 outside.
My entire core is killing me...like i fought in UFC but it was gardening and swimming...
Oh the 50s.... no more 2 am bingeing...now its run out of gas at 9pm because i did so much shit all day...

And the vessey stuff. I am so used to cannabis I have never seen anything like how they go in a rapid rooter. Squash seeds with leaves in 3 days or something lol.

I am in here...and its PERFECT temp...bose radio blasting. Not so long ago it took a weekend to get here.
Now it just takes conditions.
I can make rosin later...im pretty damned high. No stacks of 8 with these gummies..3 is plenty..I hit Nirvana..
And it was opened on Friday...a new personal best from open to swim without freezing my ass off !!!
