Hey guys, scooted over here from RIU, kept the same name for anyone who frequents both, looks good here, like the setup. Been growing off and on since the late 90’s. Getting ready to fire it up again after a couple months down after a 4 month run, made a bunch of changes for this round. Currently I run rdwc in roughly a 6x6 area, sealed (new for this run) with 2300watts on Lucas with FNB this time, Stay tuned. And bout a pound..

Figure since I came back I would bump this post, that run I mentioned up there was horrible, killed a set of plants with h2o2, too much heat after that, still finished, here’s some pics.

I had another run since, tried led and coco, it was brutal too lol. I’m just about ready to flower again, using my room one more time with HID while I setup a bigger room.

Sweet! I'm always down to see more RDWC people doing their thing here.

What's FNB and Lucas?

Flora nova bloom, Lucas is just a KISS method using one or 2 part, I ran it with gh micro bloom 8/16ml per gal before and this flora nova prob max 4-5ml per gal. I used maxibloom this last time around 3-4g per gallon, these can all be used start to finish.

I thought Lucas was the old 3 part they just rebranded than turned into 2 part. Never was crazy about GH cause you have to add calimagic or your def gonna get rust spots.

Not sure, they still offer the 3 part, you are correct about calmag, can’t get away without even on tap. I have used foliage pro before in the past for veg. I most likely won’t be using gh for flower this round.

I use “Lucas” and I also end up with some cal spots by the end of flower. I’m not trying to win any awards so I don’t let it bother me. I know they’re coming. If I lose a small amount of yield no biggie. I only grow for myself anyway.

I got fed up with hydro store bullshit- and markups- long ago and went to the professionals; greenhouse operators. That's when I learned about Peters Professional and Jacks dry nutrient salts in large quantities for silly cheap. I wasn't happy with Jacks because their nutes had too many impurities which they tried to hide with dyes, so I found a Colorado company that supplies the entire Southwest with a full line of nutrients and greenhouse supplies:

www.hydro-gardens.com

These people know their shit and supply a lot of commercial facilities throughout Colorado and the mountain West. I've made the trek to Colorado Springs on several occasions and never fail to learn a lot when I chat them up.

Hey!! I also came here from RIU. Im JimiHendrix42 over there. Been growing since they came out with HID in 77-78. Grew my first plant in 1972.

I also use the Hydro Gardens 4-20-39 x 15.5-0-0 formula + Epsom Salts. Might add MPK in early bloom for 2 weeks.

I use Promix BX as my medium. Lights are 1x 1000w Hortilux HPS, 1150w Gavita DE x 2, and have a 14 x 4 grow area. I usually grow big plants in 20 gallon containers, and then slip in some 5 gallon containers in the empty spots. I dont top, I bend my plants over from an early age. I also veg with a 1000w Hortilux HPS, and a Gavita 1700e. I also start seedlings under these lights. I do a 24/7 light scheme. Every 4 days I turn the lights out for 6 hours. I start seedlings in 32oz Uline Deli containers.

Ive also been know to do organic, and I like Peruvian Sea Bird Guano. Both Nitrogen formula, and Phosphorus formula. I also use Kelp, Azomite, Calcitic, and Dolimitic Lime. I use 2/3 Calcitic to 1/3 parts Dolomitic. Promix BX for medium

Welcome, growther! You rock those Solacure lamps too, don't you? An old buddy of mine ran those in his "florescent coffin" and swore by them.

How big do your plants get? Height? Width? Weight?
