Generic Import Rockwool

Anyone use any "knockoff" rockwool coming out of china? It's a good bit cheaper than Grodan and may be worth trying if it's sterile, clean and properly made.

There's a few of these Chinese knockoff cube packs on Amazon, just thought someone else here may have already tried the Chinese import rockwool and has an opinion on whether it's any good for germinating seeds.

So you've used generic brand rockwool and never had any issues with sterility or contamination killing off your seeds? That's the goal here!

To be honest, I dont think I have ever used the name brand cubes ever.

just a side note, what size cubes you using, 1.5? or something like the a-ok? I'm thinking the 1.5 cubes may give me a bigger seedling to transplant than the A-OK plugs.

I linked the ones I normally grab. I check Ebay or Amazon to see what's cheaper. Like I said, I don't think I have ever used name brand plugs and have yet to have a problem with them.
