Sony A7 mirrorless are nice, great resolution for the price, and far more compact than their counterparts.
Their A6000 mirrorless digital compacts are also great as they are a hybrid between a point and shoot and full size dslr. Yet they offer an interchangeable lens system. It does have 24 megapixels, but is in the APS-C format.
I use the A7 when weight and space is not an issue, and the A6000 when hiking/kayaking/climbing, and space is at a premium.
