These are the same Chem x Skunky B's that are described in earlier posts. I'm just selecting the male/female pairing from these F1 to create the next generation F2 in an attempt to narrow the pheno variance to the expression that best blends the Chem and Skunky B genes. I anticipate having to pop a larger population of the F2 to make selections for the F3, but hopefully working within the line will get me to a point where I can reliably expect to find a few great keeper quality plants from a pack of beans.More crosses with the Skunky Brewster male. Cool.
Has that become your favorite Chem male? Still using the Granny Skunk male?
The Skunky D male (Chem D x Skunky Brewster) has me excited given the raunchy smell he gives off, relatively shorter stature (Chem D can get tall), quicker maturation, increased resin, but until I can work through some of his progeny to really see how he interacts with the ladies, I won't know his value.
The Granny Skunk male is still in the library and he'll be called up when a project needs his influences. I am pollinating his progeny for further line work currently (Green Crack s1 x Granny Skunk)F1, so while I'm not making tons of crosses with him, I am still working with his genetic product. I will be flowering out a cut of him shortly to dust the Granny Skunk females to add to the breeding stock vault. Most of my line breeding is pretty much centered around Skunk, so I'm sure he'll reappear in a project at some point.
