@ttystikk ,yep they can scan the bill on the fish and tell you where it was taged,if they find it on the river bank they are real sure that the fish wasn't hit by a boat prop!

there are people who really abuse it , as long as i have it cured out ,these flying carp are cheap the rib cage deep fried is goood!cut into single rib chops try em some time,and yes leave the big mom fish ,they are tougher than you think, if not over fished .i have never try to beat the fish tape, leave em mad because i did nothing wrong !
it's getting bad with the slot limits and such when you bank fish a lot !some times when the water is right you can catch enough bait for a couple 50 hook lines ,i freeze mine till i have enough to put the boat in man i need to be makeing alk fuel some way cheap!
spoonie are a filter feeder just like the flying carp ,mussel shells,and the the zebra shell/the thin shell ones that will cut you in a hundred places when crushed ,small cats eat em ,i've had em upchuck the things in the boat!they all use the same food source!
yes, in the bill i have watched fish and game net them, and have to go back to the truck for more tags in a hour ,the collage grad thought 75 would take all day.and was fussing about being out all day tagin fish .seemed to think they never used that many tags before farther up the river.some of the creel survay crew are behind in learning .
